Electric Strike Door Lock
An electric strike lock is like an electric drop bolt. The only difference is that it is fixed on the side of the lock. The name of the electric strike lock is derived from the word strike, since when it is energized, it has a striking effect, and the lock is pulled inwards. It has two parts One part is a metallic plate fixed to the side of the door with an opening for the strike to enter. The other part is fixed in the door, which has a handle to open the door. The lock has a solenoid coil that pulls the lock inwards and releases the door. Once the door is closed the lock enters the door frame area and doesn’t open unless the strike is energized
