Suprema FaceStation 2 - Smart Face Recognition Terminal
The Suprema FaceStation 2 is an advanced face recognition terminal used for access control and time attendance systems. It can match up to 4000 faces per second because it uses a 1.4 GHz quad-core CPU and advanced Suprema face-matching algorithms. It can manage up to approximately 30,000 users, 50,000 face image logs, and 5,000,000 text logs in one terminal. It can operate in lighting levels up to 25,000 lux, making it suitable for both indoor and challenging lighting environments. Includes advanced spoof-detection features, such as live-face detection, to prevent impersonation using photos or videos. Multi-band RF reading (cards) and mobile access (BLE/NFC) are supported. The terminal also supports smartphone and mobile credentials using BLE and NFC, allowing cell phones to act as access keys. Its ergonomic and inclusive design accommodates users of different height ranges, from 145 cm to 210 cm, with an optional tilt bracket for wheelchair users/children. It supports pairing with Suprema’s thermal camera for elevated skin temperature detection.
The Suprema FaceStation 2 provides secure access control for offices, data centers, research labs, and other high-security environments. It improves efficiency by tracking employee time and attendance monitoring in large organizations. Some environments have variable lighting conditions, such as entrances with sunlight or dark corridors. Allows easy integration with existing card/mobile credential systems.
When installing, ensure that the terminal is securely mounted, powered with a stable 24 V DC supply, and connected to the network. Check the supported card standards, such as EM, HID, or MIFARE, and ensure mobile access compatibility when checking RFID cards or mobile credentials. Even though it supports high lux, installation still needs to avoid direct sunlight shining into the camera.
